I had seen Rajneeti around three to four times, but what I noticed yesterday was some retarded stuff I had ever seen in my life. The movie is all about a widow's accession to the throne. The story has a lot of tangled references to the characters of Mahabharata with the roles twisted and turned in so many occasions that it made me to wonder, how on earth these people are combining various elements of history in a modern adaptation and all of that in a wrong way.

Here are some characters that played major roles. Nana Patekar is supposed to play the role of Krishna who showed the path of righteousness to Ranveer Kapoor. Ranveer Kapoor diidn't want to come to politics but was forced step into the ring because his elder brother was killed in a suicidal attack. As a dutiful younger son of his family, he helped his bother's widowed wife win the elections through sympathy votes and killed Ajay Devgn and Manoj Bajpayee who belonged to their rival political party. Now I just thought that the government of the so called Indian Union is being ruled by political mafias who killed the oppositions using their gun power. It so happened that Ajay Devgn was Ranveer Kapoor's step brother from another father. Just like Kunti had tried to lure Karan before the battle of Mahabharata, Ranveer Kapoor's mother tried the same tact and failed miserably. Ajay Devgan had to pay the price for not accepting the offer when Ranveer Kapoor killed Ajay with his pistol. Suddenly the election results flashed and the so called Menaka Gandhi won the elections. The whole incident raises one important point- not even a single enquiry or FIR was lodged against Ranveer Kapoor. Just like an assassin he came from America and killed his rival. He was sent off unharmed. What on earth is this system of politics.

For those who know the story of Mahabharata in detail, the film is particularly useful to watch when you just want to laugh at some retard stuff. For others its watchable because anyways it doesn't matter as the story is on and off the Nehru's dynasty.
